The Army of Darkness

March 14, 1201: The party encounters an army consisting of troops from Verbobonc, Veluna City, Mitrik, Thornward, and troops from area nobles. After investigation, the party discovers that the army was formed to stop the progress of a huge shroud of darkness that was sweeping across the land. Further investigation reveals that hidden within the shroud is an army of thousands of undead and a floating castle known as the Prism. Thus far, the army's goal remains a mystery.

Roman, Shato, Wyatt, Gar, and Adon decided not to join the army and head back to the safety of Homlett. After much debate with the army leaders, Steven challenges army's leader, General Borgar Wartooth, for command of the army. After a hard-fought dual, Steven bests the general and takes command of the army.

The party gains a new ally as Wulfgar Ulfheiden joins the group. In addition, Renchor, the ranger, shows up to help increase the party's chance for success.

March 15, 1201: Early in the morning, the army engages the forces within the shroud of darkness. The plan is simple, the army is to launch a spear-head attack into the center shroud which would provide the party an opportunity to work toward the shroud's middle and hopefully discover the forces controlling this powerful group of undead. In the confusion, Saddanar and Wulfgar get separated from the party and face the full brunt of the Undead army. Steven, Nomad, and Renchor discover an open portal in the Prism's surface and enter the complex.

March 19, 1201: Saddanar and Wulfgar rejoin the party and after days of fighting, the party discovers that a lich named Mobius and the Death Knight Lady Jane Bloody Bones are responsible for the army and the destructive path it has taken. After a great battle in the Prism's control room, Mobius and Lady Jane are defeated and the Prism is claimed by the party. After much discussion, the party decides that Nomad should claim The Prism and use it as a base of operations.
