May 28, 1201: The party returns to Steven's castle and Steven attempts to gain Gar's body. Thea declines Steven's request and although no words are spoken, Thea knows Steven is very angry. Steven tells Militadles that he is no longer welcome in his castle. Militaldes and Thea leave the group.

June 2, 1201: Steven is awaken in the middle of the night as a magical clay doll of William Steele begins crying for help. The doll relates to Steven that great evil dwells on the 3rd level of his castle. It also hints that it be possible for William's to be rescued if the party can find the right clues.

June 3, 1201: The party consisting of Steven, Rook, Shato, Saddanar, Nomad, Natasha, Ghita, Gunnar the boar rider, and Lebo the thief enter the 3rd level of the Vile Runes castle. The first encounter proves deadly as an undead anti-paladin kills Ghita, Gunnar, and Lebo. The party retreats to the first level of Steven's castle to rest and bury their dead.

June 4, 1201: After a day's rest, the remaining party members return to the 3rd level of the Vile Runes castle and face powerful deamons and other creatures from the nether planes. Shato discovers a beautiful ice blue two-handed sword name Frey suspended in field of shimmering energy. While attempting to gain possession of the sword, the party releases a power arcanodeamon and after a hard fought battle the sword is gained. Shato sees this as a good omen from Frey.

June 5, 1201: Another day passes and the party faces a dangerous adversary. Rook and Saddanar are killed during the battle and the party is forced to retreat. Now totally under the control of Silencer of Bodash, Steven destroys Rook's holy sword Avoreen. After Rook is raised from the dead, a heated argument erupts between Rook and Steven. The argument soon turns violent as Steven attacks Rook. Fearing that Steven has now turned against the group, Shato steps in on Rook's behalf. Steven slays Shato and Rook in bloody sword fight. After the battle, Steven destroys Shato's holy sword Frey. Confused by this strange turn of events, Natasha leaves the group and seeks safety with Militadles.

Plotting what to do with the bodies of Rook, Saddanar, and Shato, Steven is shocked to discover that the bodies have vanished. Steven and Nomad divide party treasure.

June 12, 1201: Steven receives a message from Militadles challenging him to a battle of honor. Steven accepts and decides to bring Nomad for support.

June 13, 1201: The battle between Steven and Militadles is a short one. Before blood is drawn, Nomad uses his mental prowess to disable Steven; the Silencer of Bodash falls harmlessly to the ground. Before Militadles can recover the weapon, it floats in that air and disappears. The sword has found another to lord over. Due to the mental attack suffered by Steven at the hands of Nomad, Steven is left in a coma; no one knows if he will recover.

June 26, 1201: After 3 weeks of bed rest, Rook and Shato are strong enough to get out of bed and talk with The Cobbler. They are happy to learn that Saddanar is there also; the 3 talk about recent events and make plans about what to do next. Saddanar teleports to The Prism to have a conference with Nomad and Natasha, as Rook leaves the cobbler's shop and strikes out to Littleborough. Nomad tells Saddanar that Steven had been possessed the spirit in Silencer of Bodash. Nomad believe that Steven should return to normal provided he survives the coma.

June 29, 1201: Acting as diplomat, Saddanar teleports to Steven's Castle to have a conference with Steven. Saddanar learns that Steven’s is remorseful about his actions and feels he is no longer a threat to the group. After much consultation, the party agrees and Steven is let back into the fold.
