The Nulb Debacle

May 14, 1201:A party consisting of Saddanar, Theadocia, Adon, Gar, Shato, Wulfgar, Roman, Natasha, Bilbo, and Renchor travel to Nulb to investigate, Saddanar's claim that Nulb is massing troops for an attack on Hommlett and the surrounding area. After several heated discussions with Nulb residents, the party forces a battle with a band of Hill Giant slave traders. Renchor, weilding the Moridan long sword, slays several of the giants. After the battle, it is discovered that Gar has been replaced by a Doppleganger, his fate unknown.

With Nulb's forces moving to attack, the confused party separates leaving the clerics to fend for themselves. While heading back to Hommlett, Adon and Theadocia are confronted by Natasha, the Illrigger Paladin of Druaga. During the battle that follows, Theadocia is killed and Adon barely escaped with his life.

May 19, 1201: Under the cloak of invisibility Saddanar enters Nulb, screams at the top of his lungs "You want justice, this is Saddanar's form of justice!", and attacks the small village by fireballing two buildings. In retaliation for Saddanar's actions, forces from Nulb attack and destroy New Moret.

May 21, 1201: Saddanar is discovered to be innocent of all charges concerning the unprovoked attack on Nulb. Although Saddanar is cleared, it begs the question "If not Saddanar, then who?"

May 22, 1201: In attempt to rescue their captured friend Gar, the party consisting of Steven, Renchor, Shato, Thea, Saddanar, Nomad, and Natasha entered the Drow homeland and fell into to a trap carefully laid by the Drow. Using their skill and ingenuity, the party managed to defeat the drow, but Gar was killed in the rescue attempt.

With Gar's body in tow, the party searched for a way back home. A way was discovered as The Cobbler opened a portal to his shop. As the party gathered round, they are joined by Militadles the undead paladin. The Cobbler tells the group "It is a time of great evil and once again you must summon your courage, chose your best, and answer the challenge as Disciples of Justice. Some of you will not be chosen for others are more deserving. Choose your friends wisely for someone close is a deceiver and evil seeks to destroy not only from without, but also from within."
