November 23, 1202: While exploring the Underdark and battling the Drow, the party consisting of Steven, Renchor, Saddanar, Roman, and Natasha encounter a strange rock formation in the center of a huge cavern. Shaped of a giant war hammer, this formation bore a plague that read "Thor's Hammer". As they read the plaque, a strange blue light enveloped the party. While in the light many party members had strange visions and were forced to choose which vision was most desirable. When the vision ended, Steven, Renchor, Natasha, Roman, and Saddanar found themselves on a dock walking toward a small fishing community. Steven quickly recognized this community as the town of Saltmarsh, a town he had visited many years earlier. Saltmarsh, however, had grown since Steven last visited. While looking about Saltmarsh, Steven ran into an old friend, junior council member Bowles. While talking to Councilman Bowles, Steven learned that the one-time junior council member had ascended to position of Council Chairmen. Although Steven last visited Saltmarsh only about 5 years ago, Councilman Bowles was at least 30 years older than Steven remembered. A fact that Councilman Bowles confirmed by saying how well Steven looked and how time had been kind to him. While Steven, Renchor, Natasha, Roman, and Saddanar are unsure as to why they have been sent to Saltmarsh, they began to realize that it's not so much a matter of where they were sent, but when they arrived. September 21, 1232: While in Saltmarsh, the group happens across a novice band of adventurers consisting of Nail, the dwarven warrior, Perceval, the cleric, Etrois, the ranger, Braden, the rogue, Zeboo, the bard, and Keth, the barbarian. This new blood blended well with the seasoned group and the two band of adventurers decided to join forces and adventure as one unit. Danger was quick to follow when they answered an ad placed by a business man from the city of Badwell. The business man, Plexico Burress, was looking for a group of adventurers to search the old Nol-Daer estate and see if the fate of its former owner, Grimior could be determined. Although the party has thus far been unable to discover any information about Grimior, they have entered the ruins and battled many horrible monsters there. The battles have proved costly as Braden was replaced by Dopplegangers and is presumed dead, and Keth was nearly slain by Gargoyles. Forced to leave, the party camps about 300 yards from the ruins to rest and heal. The night is cool and all is silent. September 25, 1232: Returning to the ruins, the group battles a variety of foes including 2 Stone Golems that guard the entrance to a wizard's laboratory. While in the lab, they discover a Lich encased in amber. Fearing that the Lich is better off left alone, the group takes what treasure they can and exit the ruins. The fate of Grimior is never discovered.
