Day 27
Border guard replacements rode into town today headed
south. The trade caravan from Jerico Hill is two weeks late. The Capt.. of the
guard said that heavy rains in the mountains cost them time and damage to
equipment. The caravan is going to stay on in Stonegate for several days while
their towns millwright repairs their wagons. Crops and wool production were good
and Seyers warehouses are full. The people of the valley are hoping for a good
price.
Day 28
The soldiers are busy gathering supplies today on their
last stop before heading south to the Border Lands. Last evening at the Half
Moon was very exciting with all the stories from other parts of Mejis. One
report said the King may even visit within the next year? I'm sure over the next
two nights the stories will grow larger and more outrageous. As evening
approaches it looks to be raining before first light and Marshall Stormhand
agrees that is most likely.
